Bharata Natyam~ For New Audiences (BNFNA)
Celebrates it's 16th season 2008-2024

BNFNA- Hopes to  see You soon in 2024-

BNFNA is a series performed by Jaan R. Freeman. The series mission is to introduce and build new audiences to BharataNatyam. The series began it's inaugural performance in 2008 in San Francisco, California at the Mary Sano Center of Duncan Dancing. The series has toured the United States bringing the art to small and large cities; Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, Charleston-SC, New Orleans, Baton Rouge-LA, Portland-Maine, Louisville, Eureka Springs-Arkansas, Buffalo, NJ, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Worcester-Massachusetts, Brattleboro Vermont   among other cities/states.

The series collaborates with a host organization in a city and co- present this program.​ A few of our host as been:
Unity of Central Mass, Wild Lotus Yoga, Portland Yoga, The Red shoes, Jiva Mukti Yoga of Jersey City, The Lotus Pond, Devi Bollywood Dance, Melonlight Ballroom among others.
We are in our 10th season and wish to continue to expose this art to all who wish to witness. Hope to see you at an upcoming program!
